Black Press, Dec 2020 Children are a major part of the clientele at Victoria General Hospital’s ambulatory lab and it is a stressful place for kids who are often there for bloodwork and other uncomfortable procedures. Black Press, Dec 2020 The annual Poinsettias for Patients campaign sold more than $14,000 of the traditional Christmas plants this year, said Valerie Smith, past president of the VGHA and convenor of the campaign. Proceeds from this year’s effort will go toward improvements to a new out-patient lab, Hospital at Home, as well as providing a heartfelt thank you to frontline workers at the hospital. |
The Victoria General Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce they have purchased three Virtual Reality headsets and a mural the CFAU at Victoria General Hospital.
Val Smith, erstwhile President, and Howard and his sox were thanked for over 15 years of volunteer service to the Auxiliary.
